Offered placements of skills of Lincoln Cathedral

Scholarships to learn responsibility, carpentry and lead work have been organized by the County Council in partnership with the Cathedral.

A grant of ￡ 500,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund funded nine 18-month placements, with a heritage in the Castle Knowledge Center.

Cathedral of officials told prefer applicants with some previous but not necessarily heritage related experience.

Works in Carol Heidschuster Cathedral Administrator said: "there is a real skills such shortage."

"This tutorial is how have been passing knowledge through the centuries, and this is also a way of giving something to the region."

Placements will count towards an NVQ. The deadline for the three first places is March 14.
